The City Council requests a grant of €600,000 to reform the third floor of the Residence

The City Council of La Pobla de Segur has requested a grant from the European Next Generation funds, through the Department of Social Rights of the Generalitat de Catalunya. The objective is to refurbish the third floor of the Residencia Nostra Senyora de Ribera and modernize the current facilities, as well as gain energy improvements adapted to the needs of both the building and the users themselves.

This remodelling will also allow the expansion of the available places in the health centre, since it foresees the construction of 8 individual rooms with their own bathroom, as well as spaces for shared use.

The subsidy line of the Department of Social Rights is aimed, among other lines of action, at investing in new residential and day care centres and the remodelling of existing centres. The total budget for the execution is €774,006, while the amount requested in the grant is €639,675.
