St. Corneli Vertical Race – September 25, 2022

The La Pobla de Segur Athletics Club, together with the Catalan Athletics Federation and the Pobla de Segur City Council have organized the Sant Corneli Vertical Race, the Catalan Championship of Vertical Races and the Open Race.

A total of 128 runners have participated in one of the three modalities of the race: Federated, Open and children.

In the Federated category, they have been proclaimed Champion of Catalonia respectively:

Lleïr Bracons from JA Berga and Laia Andreu from C.A.VIC.

Highlight the performances of the local athletes of the La Pobla de Segur Athletics Club: Fedot Sadovici runner-up in the Catalunya Master 35 and Eloy Gonzales runner-up in the Master 45 category.

In the OPEN category, Nil Bacardit and Marta Carrasco have been declared the absolute winner.

Regarding the children’s race, the CAPS athletes in the Sub18-16-14-12 category should be highlighted, such as Oriol Balbè, Clàudia Llesuy, Rabab Ouzemmou, Nekane Prió and Guerau Carrillo, champions of their respective categories.
