Presentation to FITUR of the tourism project financed with Next Generation funds

The Mayor Marc Baró and the Councilor for Tourism Josep M. Tirbió today attended the FITUR Catalonia stand in Madrid to present the projects approved with European funds Next Generation of the Extraordinary Program of Tourism Sustainability Plans for Destinations 2022. As we reported last December, the City Council of La Pobla de Segur will receive two million euros for the project “La Pobla de Segur: nature and sustainable active tourism”, to be carried out in the coming years.

The presentation was attended by the Business Minister, Roger Torrent, the General Director of Tourism, Marta Domènech, and the Government delegate in Madrid, Ester Capella. Representatives of the 17 Catalan destinations that have received funding in this call have also attended.
