La Pobla de Segur is a municipality of Catalonia, that belongs to the province of Lleida and to the comarca of the Pallars Jussà, located in the centre of the county. The population is divided by the river Flamisell in two main parts. It is the second population in importance of the county. It occupies an extension of 32,83 km2. The municipality includes the villages and abandoned localities of Gramuntill, Montsor, Pumanyons and Sant Joan de Vinyafrescal.
