La Pobla gets €15.000 to install free WIFI in public spaces

La Pobla is one of the three municipalities in Pallars area that will benefit of the European aid WiFi4EU, an initiative which aim is to offer internet connection to all citizens in public spaces. So, whithin a year, our  municipality will create different free WiFi points such as The Alcalde Boixareu Park, the modernist palace Casa Mauri and the Raiers II building.

2.800 municipalities have been selected, 224 of those are Spanish. Catalonia, with 44 municipalities selected, is the most benefited autonomous community. The European commission has invested a budget of 120 million euros in this initiative.
