Collegats Canyon

This route starts at the Gramuntill track in which you have to walk during 10 minutes, where you’re going to find the crossing to ascent the path that leads to Sant Pere de les Maleses Monastery, the ruins of a rock shelter building from the IX century. To continue the route you have to come back to Sant Pere ravine and take the path that will lead to the Serpent cave. The way back towards the Figuereta fountain goes through the old road, which was used until the 90s, when the galleries were built. The point in which we leave behind the old road was important during the XIX century because it was where La Barraqueta, the toll, was located. So, this was the place where travelers paid to go through the canyon, so that they could continue their way.
