Inauguration of the Route of the Air Raid Shelters of La Pobla de Segur

With great attendance of the public from La Pobla de Segur and the entie region (more than a hundred people), yesterday, Sunday, the inaugural act of the tourist route look place, which allows visitors to discover the anti-aircraft shelters of our population, built during the Civil War.

The route directed by Manel Gimeno i Llardén, a scholar of our contemporary history of Pallars, passed through the places in the town where new information panels have recently been placed that allow us to learn more about this historical period.

This project is included within the Democratic Memory spaces and is the first phase of a larger project that aims to make one of these shelters visitable.

This inaugurated route is self-guided, has taken into account sustainability and is adapted for people with reduced mobility and the blind.
