Sant Miquel’s festival

Each 8th May the citizens from la Pobla de Segur celebrate a pilgrimage that ends at Sant Miquel’s church, patron saint of la Pobla de Segur. During the festivity, a blessed bread is given to the population, a mass is celebrated and, finally, all the citizens have lunch together around Sant Miquel’s church. This pilgrimage is documented since 1758 and, although nowadays not everybody goes up the church by walking, it still is an important festivity for la Pobla de Segur.
