Carnival

Carnival begins very soon, on Saturday at eight a.m in the morning when a group of local people start the bonfire in which the escudella’s pots are boiled. The escudellada is celebrated in Daldo square and gathers almost 300 people. During the afternoon there’s a children entertainment and hot coco for all the participants. Saturday’s last show is a passacaglia in which youngsters show their floats to all the citizens. Carnival finishes On Ash Wednesday with a sardinada (grilled sardines).
