Women Association

WHO ARE WE?

The Women Association of la Pobla was born in 2008 and joins a group of women aiming to contribute and take part of the life of our municipality. Between our purposes there is the promotion of cultural, leisure, and formative activities tied to promoting women in a society where the equality of gender was real. The association counts now 269 associates and is always open to new registrations and proposals, to do amongst all a socially fairer municipality, more dynamic and more attentive to the everybody’s needs.

OUR ACTIVITIES

We do a large diversity of activities: cultural and recreational visits to different national and international fates, courses of informatics, languages (French and English) workshops of sewing, cooking, furniture restoration, classes of therapeutic gymnastics swimming, nordic walking… We also organized several conferences and collaborations with other entities of the municipality: the City council, the CAP and the AECC-Catalonia against the cancer in activities of health promotion and the organization with many local entities of the Marathon of TV3.
